Hybrid Manufacturing Approach Delivers Cooler Tools

During the injection mould process, water plays a key role during the solidification process. The distribution of cooling molten plastic, typically at temperatures of 200 to 300 degrees Celsius, is a vital part to maintaining the quality. If parts of the material are insufficiently cooled it can shrink, which leads to minor to severe distortion. Therefore, poor cooling performance can cause extreme frustration between you and your customers.
