Our toolmaking technology improves the productivity of plastic injection moulded parts
To help achieve quality materials and reduce costs and short cycle times, OGM has adopted a new hybrid manufacturing technology that promises to overcome many barriers.
During the injection mould process, water plays a key role during the solidification process. The distribution of cooling molten plastic, typically at temperatures of 200 to 300 degrees Celsius, is a vital part to maintaining the quality. If parts of the material are insufficiently cooled it can shrink, which leads to minor to severe distortion. Therefore, poor cooling performance can cause extreme frustration between you and your customers.
The ConformL Cool approach is based on a hybrid manufacturing technique that combines hybrid additive manufacturing and conventional CNC machining technologies.
